Today my sweet guy turns three.
For three years I have been entranced by this guys smile and wrapped up tight by the warmth of his love. He is my sweet cheeky #2 cutie and I love him top to bottom.
Late last night I put the finishing touches on his cake (Nigella's Devils Food ;) ).
My Original plans for the cake involved an earth moving/construction theme. That was until the sweetest blue eyes in the world looked at me on Saturday morning and breathed excitedly whispering the details of his number 3 cake. Including Lightning McQueen and a race track :0
There was no way could I disappoint this sweet guy on the eve of his entering boyhood??
So I kept the construction theme and added the essential Lightning who raced so fast he crashed off the track causing such a mess he needed a construction crew to get him out!
Pretty awesome huh!
