Looking out the back door last week 6 teenage chickens ran past in a flurry of excitement I laughed as I thought wow this place really is our's.
There are hand prints on the door, washing in piles in the laundry and a tomato stain on the carpet.
The dishwasher is never idle, the Tupperware cupboard needs reorganising and vege patches are being planned.
Shed floors have been painted, compost piles started and the back lawn is covered in bikes and toys.
There is a space for sewing, a space for playing trains and a space for blocks.
There is high ceilings and large windows making for great acoustics and lots of natural light.
We are planting fruit trees and planning motorbike tracks.
We are settled in this new space and 2 months in it is finally dawning on me that we own it!
