Of course there is these two handsome's who seem to literally sprout before my eyes.....

With all this babe growing I ceased the opportunity up size yet another pebble vest for my littlest handsome..... I just cant get enough of this pattern.(free rav. download).

2009 is almost passing into it's second semester which means a little bit of secret birthday crocheting......

What's Happenin'.....

The rain that was forecast for today blew the other way so this is how we spent our day.....

Grocery shopping while sipping take away coffees and chasing wild boys.

Replanting beetroots and watering in lawn runners.

Playing cars and reading books with cute boy cousins.

Eating plates and plates of nutella sandwiches and saving the crusts for baby.

Running so fast that my Wii Fit Mii fell over causing me to fall over in hysterics......

Laughing uncontrollable as my 2 y/o started chasing the dog on the Wii Fit jogging game and kicked his mama's slow-joggin ass!!

Dreaming of the most awesome play date ever *wink*...... I think I finally have it!!

Becoming a uno-attack CHAMPION!! GAME ON!!

Eating leftover birthday cheesecake while snuggling with the most handsome birthday man on the planet.

Checking out pix of baby taken by my "I'm not a big boy yet mum".

How was your Saturday??

Making time to sew.....

My nephew's 4th birthday meant that it was time to still the knitting needles and blow the dust off the sewing machine.

It had been a little while since I had exercised my old janome.....

So I thought it best to start with a few warm up exercises......

I whipped up some "nakey bums" for my babe..... can you believe he is almost 6 months??

These are made from a sandwich of flannellette with a repurposed cloth nappy filling.

Perfect for little "nakey bums" to sit or lay on.

After a quick needle change it was on to the birthday surprise.....

A cowboy library bag for my fave little cowboy.

Lined with a $1 shopping bag.

Add a some reading material a birthday card and we were off to celebrate "Happy Birthday Jordy!!" We hope you had a great day...we had a heap of fun at your party!!
