the Australian National Anthem....done right!! Yep I am still loving this version!!
A new blanket is a good excuse to get out in the sunshine and spend some time playing on the lawn watching big brother make a river of bubbles over our heads......
Some corners of our home......
A place to for my little minds to read......
and a place for the mama to feed baby...... and sometimes read.
The knitting continues mostly in the wee baby rocking hours of the morning...... I see many finished objects in the very near future until then.....
Another use for the multitudes of kid art we seem to accumulate....... gift cards.
;)
I bought this mobile from a fair trade shop when Wyatt was a few weeks old. It is made of painted silk and ??bamboo and it hangs above the change table. Both of my babes have been fascinated with the fluttering of these vibrant wings.
I never bothered with a bassinet when Wyatt was a newborn and I really regretted it. This time around I was hell bent on buying one of these hammocks. Since Axel's arrival I have dubbed this the baby whisperer!! It is so easy to use and maneuver I can even settle him without getting out of my bed..... bliss.....
I am still knitting feverishly...... using up my stash at great speeds.
Inspired by the fantastic Soule Mama I finished Axel's kicking bag. This is perfect for those early morning feeds. Even though it is summer the temp is quite cool at 2am!! This pattern is a free link on ravelry.
I knitted this on 4mm needles with ebay wool ??Chinese......
Not to be left out.... my biggest handsome.... proudly showing off "tattoo....same as dad mum!!"
Happy New Year Everyone and thank you soooo much for your welcome wishes for my babe.
