Quick Craft

We have been forced inside with the wet wet WET weather this week. Even though the rain has given the kids a serious dose of cabin fever it has been the perfect time to get some Halloween crafting and decorating done.

Luckily I have a front room that would easily qualify for an episode of hoarders. After a few minutes burrowing around I managed to unearth a huge stash of tissue paper stash (thanx internet retailers for all of your delicate wrapping of my treasures).

We quickly got to work turning the tissue paper into some spooky ghosts. This is a super quick and easy craft perfect for toddlers.

First you grab a chunk of tissue paper and scrunch it into a ball.

Then you grab another piece of tissue paper and wrap it around the ball turning it into a ghostly figure. (this was the part of the craft that I heard myself uttering...... "I need your balls" ohhhh my!!??!!

Tie a "neck" with a piece of scrap yarn or ribbon leaving enough length to hang your ghost with. Then decorate with a spooky face we used textas but you could use stickers or paint whatever works for your crafters.

My 3 y/o loves to scrunch the ghosts heads and make the spooky face.

If it wasn't raining so much we would be hanging these in the trees as well *sigh*.

I would love to hear about your spooky craft ideas.
;)

Hey Abby I love that baby growth chart. Halloween is right in the middle of birthday season here so we don't decorate. Loving your spooky ghosts though.
