Playing Catch Up.

Reading through some of my favourite bloglines today I started thinking it was time I played tag catch up......

All the way back in January the fantastically talented Amy Quarry passed on the Proximity blogging award to me......

February saw me caught in Levin's game of tag 6...... where you open the 6th picture folder on your pc and post the 6th picture........

I recently caught up (on the dreaded facebook.....shhhhh don't tell anyone but I am quietly addicted!??!) with an artistic friend of mine. My conversations with him left me inspired and thinking about the things I see everyday in a new light. I started taking my camera everywhere and began snapping away at even the most ordinary things.......When I came across this sign it reminded me so much of my man that I couldn't resist a picture.

Here's the story.....

We had been living back in my home town for about 12 months when my in laws came for a visit. They were looking at the tourist info brochures when a pix of this came up and the MOTH asked "wheres that babe"...... he couldn't understand my puzzled look when I replied "On the corner of the bakery that we walk to every weekend!!"

Now its March and Karen Jane has hit me with the tree of happiness..... what a thoughtful award from a truly gorgeous Chicky (couldn't resist a little chicken pairing there Karen hope your brood is doing well)!! Karen's blog is a constant reminder for me to slow done and appreciate in the world around me.
