How to get your kids to eat Vege's!!

I was going about the day to day grind the other day I started to think about my next blog post...... in true maternal frustration I was tempted to call it "Help me child lives on Tim Tams!!". Then I came across this fantastic recipe Zucchini Apple Loaf from Unbecoming Lilly and things started to change ever so slightly. Not only is this recipe super tasty but it is so easy that Mr 2 did most of the mixing......

YUM!!

On the hottest day ever and with a broken air con I hit the sewing machine and whipped up this little treasure for my babe.....

This is a fantastic way to use up scraps of fabric and ribbon and is easy for little hands to grab and manipulate.

Also a little bit of knitting.......

Some Golden Snitches....

And a little something for my gorgeous new niece.......

wow - did you knit that???!!! it looks fabulous.
i'm forever trying to sneak veggies into the kids meals. i try and finely grate carrots and mushrooms into the bolognase sauce which usually works unless one of them sees me do it. one day julian caught me and told me that the grated mushrooms look suspiciously like maggots - nice :)
hope your air con gets fixed soon. we are having cooler weather but it's going to rise again soon.
stay cool
