February

As February rounds up our rural Aussie summer the temperature soars into the mid 40's, regular thunderstorms see the humidity rise and fall at dramatic rates and the air conditioning is failing which leaves us thinking we would be better off outside under a tree.

Despite this February-lurgy there has been a little bit of creative birthday making, some kid art, small progresses on my knitting and a whole lot of water worshipping.

Our beautiful surrogate cousin Selyne turned 3 over the weekend. Of course this was the perfect excuse for a Pink White Chocolate Cheesecake.....

not to mention lotsa sugar.....

The fabulous Flip Flops and Applesauce recently had a free download for these Paper Samara Spinners.....

We took advantage of an extra long baby nap and indulged in some "spinning"

In the afternoons Mr 2 indulged in some water worshipping....

and my babe relaxed in the cool breeze under a tree.....

I can not begin to tell you how much I adore these gorgeous little shoes.

I bought this cute pair of ballet slippers for my niece for Christmas and when they arrived I was so impressed. Not only did they arrive so quickly that I wondered if they had ESP, but the shoes are just gorgeous. They are made out of the softest materials and were packaged in the cutest little clear box -making wrapping soooo very easy, not to mention solving any storage problems. They even included a discount card for future shopping expeditions. YAY. The only negative is that they don't come in my size...*sigh*
