Repeatedly walking my sleeping babe up the creaky hallway to the bedroom, easing him from the security of his warm sling and placing him gently in his bed and expecting that he will continue to sleep there...... it has to work this time right!! lol. Seriously though this post from Soule Mama really sums up our lives at the moment.... blissfully chaotic.....

and a place for the mama to feed baby...... and sometimes read.
The knitting continues mostly in the wee baby rocking hours of the morning...... I see many finished objects in the very near future until then.....
Another use for the multitudes of kid art we seem to accumulate....... gift cards.

oh how i remember those times - none of my kids slept well on their own - and they all slept with us in bed at night.
actually none of my kids slept well at all - but the good news is that they do now!

Oh Abby, you poor thing............nothing worse than a baby that just wants to be carted around especially when it's way too hot. Maybe try self settling, don't let Axel fall asleep during his feed, after winding, wrap him in a gauzey wrap and allow him to settle himself to sleep. It won't take him long to work it out. He has such a beautiful swinging bed, spoilt little boy. I wish I could come over and give him a cuddle he looks so delicious. Love the little readers corner.
oh, i hope it gets better soon! i have been there. I know it is so hard. I hope you can get some rest!
