The first weekend of December came and went with no sign of babies arrival so figured it was time to get a move on with the Christmas cheer. So out came the boxes and.....
Up went the tree.....
including some brand new Dora ornaments.....
and last years handmade......
and finally the apron garland I whipped up last year......
With all this Christmas cheer around we got down to a little kids Christmas crafting including these festive magnets gifted to us in last years stockings......
and these crazy elves......
Obviously I spent heaps of time making sure the heads were the perfect fit....LMAO
Let me tell ya we heart glitter glue big time at the moment!!
As you can see ....... I might be on a slight craft hiatus while this babe wallows inside me but my festive spirit is right in track....... lol
How is your festive spirit coming along??
;)

I am currently with out Christmas spirit. We have no decorations up, there is no air of secrecy and planning. The pleasant furtiveness of stashing Christmas gifts is amiss.
All I can say is The Great Trip Home better prove a little bit festive at aleast or I shall fel bereft!
Hi Abby, been thinking about you, checking in daily to see if your little bundle has arrived. I love all the Christmas spirit you are exuding, you put me to shame, the kids have put our tree up but I just don't want to get all the rest of the stuff out, not feeling like putting in a big effort this year. Slack I know! Love the little knitted jumper decoration, very cute, our tree has six little handknit stockings my Nana made many years ago for me, they fit a roll of Lifesavers in each. I did go out walking with dogs yesterday and went out of my way to the forest along the river and picked up a dozen pine cones, hope to find some spray on snow and give them a blast, hope they look ok on our dining room table on a platter. Hope all goes well and that it happens very soon. Eat a full cob of corn, this will get everything moving! Lisa x
i love the elves, saw them this morning and we got straight to making, only we ended up with an elf, snowman, father christmas and... dorithy the dinosaur (littly m apparently isnt in the christmas spirit lol) the kids thought they were just great, sounds like they will be pride of place on their fridges tonight. although they werent lucky enough to have glitter glue. that might have just been too darn fun:)
hope baby comes soon, cant wait to meet s/he
i hope that by the time you read this you will have had your little baby. i've been thinking of you lots - i had two late babies and it's very tiresome.
i can't believe that whilst being heavily pregnant you have managed all that christmas crafting and decorating - i've been faffing with a capital FAFF! i keep telling myself that i will start once the holidays are here - i've no excuse now.
hope all is well
