Two Stripes Means......

Were pregnant!!
Our second baby is due in early December and we are really beyond excited!!

All the usual first trimester hormone madness has meant very little crafting and lots time spent loving on my boys. Thankfully I am starting to feel the changes that the signal the second trimester most notably my desire to get crafting again just in time for World Wide Knit in Public Day YAY!! I have so many knit in public plans the only question is which project!!

I would love to hear about your knitting or crafting in public stories.....

Do you craft outside??

What is your favourite craft to take outdoors??

How does it make you feel??

My personal faves are knitting, crocheting or embroidering outside - easily transportable...... I love the feeling of calm that I get crafting outside with the sun on my face......

:)

Yah, you are up and blogging and telling the world your very special news that I have kept secret for quite some time now. I was beginning to worry something was wrong. Thanks for alerting me to the Knitting in Public Day.

just quickly, in answer to the questions in your post. I love doing all my crafts inside especially on grey stormy days - those days where it rains a lot and you take comfort in sitting inside a warm house.
My favourite crafts at the moment would be quilting and crocheting.
I love crafting with others - there should be more of it. I find it hard to get inspired when I am on my own.
Hope you are feeling well.

Congratulations - I knit in public on the first and third thursdays of the month at a local pub - we do get some looks and a few smarty pants that walk past and say 'knit 1, purl 1' At least they sort of know what they are talking about LOL

It is great and I have made so many friends through it. On WKIPD I will be doing something in sunny queensland - might have to pop a beach photo up!

Welcome back - I have missed you

Hi Abby, it is great to see you back, and especially with such exciting news. Gotta love the second trimeter :)
In answer to your questions, I rarely catch thetrain these days without some crafting to do. Knitting is best - except when the needles are too long and I end up poking my neighbours!
